Paul is Carmen's step brother and one of her really good friends. He isn't much of a talker, but he listens very well.
Him and Lena became good friends in the second and third books.
He lives with his mom Lydia, step-dad Al, and sister Krista. He also visits his alcoholic father once a month in a clinic
in Atlanta.
